She is making threats through text messages saying that if I don't return the car key she will cancel my policy. Is that possible for her to do? Ok, I work a minimum wage job that took me months to find. Progressive, which has been a good insurance agency, charges me about $120 a month to insure an old rustbucket 1977 Ford. Insurance for young adults?

I can't seem to get all of my questions answered from my own research, so I've resorted to yahoo answers. My family lost my dad a few years ago, and with him we lost our insurance coverage. We currently receive social security. This stops once I graduate. Would I be able to receive any sort benefits (any sort of welfare, food stamps, etc) as a result of this? What about college grants? Also, my mom, sister and I don't have any health insurance. I want to apply for affordable insurance, but I really don't know much about it. How much would it cost, and what are my options? California State Disability and Insurance?

Hi, I am trying to figure out how much of a % I will be getting back from the state. I have short term disability but I havent called them yet to figure out how much I will get every month. Also, I have insurance through work and apparently not all the hospital fees are paid for. For example, my coworker just had a baby and cost her about $1500 out of her own pocket. Altogether was $9000 (rest was billed to the insurance). My doc is telling me I might have to have a C-Section. How much do those usually cost? What the heck is the point of having insurance if there not even going to pay for crap! BTW I am 29 weeks

First timer buying Car Insurance?

It will be my first time buying car insurance next month and I am looking to get any advice if possible. I am in the Toronto area and I'm on a budget! How can a non BC resident be on a car insurance (ICBC)?

BC only has one choice of auto insurance, ICBC (gov't run). And ICBC is not flexible and so expensive. I have a car insurance from ICBC on my car, but they told me that when my boyfriend who has an international driver's license cannot drive my car under my insurance. I thought about renting a car so he can be insured and drive. But ICBC's rental car insurance does not cover non BC residents either. So how people who visit BC from other countries travel and be insured to drive a car??? Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Insurance for a new driver?

Seventeen in a couple of months, and naturally want a car. I know I am going to have to get something small and low-powered, because I am a male and live in a part of England usually on fire. I also know what the insurance criteria are (Age, Where you live, where the car is parked, what you use it for, how often you use it etc..) I don't particularly want to be done for fraud, so no fronting please. Just wondering if there is any way to lower the cost of insurance? Don't mind driving a van, car etc. etc. (Not a motorbike..) Probably pis.sing in the wind trying to get a loophole, but I don't want to fork out 3k to insure a Citroen AX/2CV6. Any help/advice greatly appreciated.. :)

Unemployment Insurance for Teenagers?

The business I have worked at for 3 years has just announced they are shutting their doors at the end of the month. I am only 17 but have been told that I am still able to apply for unemployment benefits...which I know next to nothing about. Basically, I've only worked 10-20 hours a week for a wage slightly above minimum. It's just been a part time job for me since I'm a student and involved in several sports and challenging classes. However, I'm still trying to save money for college, so...what do I actually get when I file for unemployment and am hunting for a job? Anything? Sorry if this question sounds ditzy...I don't know much about the workforce.

Ok, so I got a speeding ticket on Saturday for 5 over, I havent gotten a ticket in almost 5 years, my driving record is almost perfect, Im 25 years old. So, I havent been too sure about my car insurance, my dad was paying for a while, he stopped, so I made a couple payment and I moved and it just kind of disappeared, I know Ive been very irresponsible and I will suffer any consequences I get. So I didnt have proof of insurance when I got pulled over, the cop said it was fine, just bring it when I pay my ticket. So Im fairly certain I didnt have active insurance at that point, so Im wondering now if I were to buy insurance right now and bring proof of it in, would I get in trouble for not having it at the time I got pulled over? OK how does this sound to you guys? my mum has two cars one of which is insured with me as a learner im 19 and my sisters as a full driver 22 she is also insured with her own car but on my mums so she culd take me out to learn and for emergency reasons ok so the second car is going to be insured under the same company on a diffrent policy with my mum only. aparently this sounds suspecious ?? pepole think the 1st car is mine but its NOT my mum will be the main driver on both i she will decided which car she takes one day and which the other not me but she got the second car because my sister who is insured on the policy aswell well her car broke so she took a lend of my moms which was annoying for my mom coz she needed it and when she takes me out to learn my mom got fed up waiting till we come back to she jist got a second car to aviod that ! when i pass my test yeah i will be a full liceance on the policy im currently on but that does not mean it will be my car ! only time i can driver it is if my mom or older sister is not using it. BUT ppl are convinced its mine and all that ? surley an insurance company cant refuse to insure???
